As a senior officer in our team, you will be responsible for not only assessing and approving new business applications according to the company’s service standards, underwriting guidelines, and the delegated authority, but also leading projects and initiatives to grow our business together. Your Key Responsibilities Include : Perform risk assessment for individual new business applications in accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, service pledge, and the authorized limit Work closely with our customer service team to facilitate the underwriting services to our customers and help with addressing and responding to underwriting-related enquiries Using data-driven methodology to identify and execute improvement opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience throughout the whole underwriting journey and improve operational efficiencies Prepare business requirements or underwriting documents for underwriting-related projects Participate in ad hoc underwriting tasks or projects About you
3+ years of underwriting experience in life / health insurance; prior experience with VHIS will be a huge plus
A professional qualification in life insurance (such as FLMI) is preferred
Prior involvement in a project / UAT is highly preferred Strong customer orientation mindset with good analytical and problem-solving skills
Independent, open-minded, self-motivated, a good team player, and able to work under pressure
Bilingual fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese Candidates with more experience may be considered for an assistant manager role. We Offer
