About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at KY MAJU MART SDN.BHD. in Kuantan, Pahang. As a full-time Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting and reporting functions of our company. This is a crucial role that will have a significant impact on the overall success and financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the general ledger, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the integrity of the financial records.
• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support the company's financial planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to the management team, highlighting key trends and performance indicators.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and implement necessary process improvements.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
