What you’ll do :

As a Data Scientist based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work on a variety of analytical projects designed to enhance business performance across multiple units. You will apply scientific principles to interrogate large datasets using tools such as R, Python, or Spark, formulating hypotheses rapidly and iterating on solutions until optimal results are achieved. In addition to delivering technical excellence on individual projects, you will also support colleagues as a machine learning expert and guide both local and remote teams toward successful outcomes.

• Collaborate with internal business customers to develop and refine analytical use cases in alignment with analytics leads and partners, ensuring that each solution addresses real-world challenges.
• Translate complex business questions into analytically tractable problems by leveraging an understanding of both business processes and scientific methodologies.
• Interrogate large datasets and interpret sophisticated models to formulate, evaluate, and iterate hypotheses, driving continuous improvement in outcomes.
• Integrate, format, and present analyses through compelling data visualisations that clearly communicate results, findings, and recommendations to business users.
• Serve as a machine learning expert to support Data & Analytics as well as key business stakeholders.
• Direct the work of onshore and offshore analytics teams on assigned projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality deliverables.
