Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) at Snappymob, a boutique technical consultancy specializing in fintech and financial services in Malaysia and APAC. We craft cutting-edge web and mobile solutions and partner with a vibrant team from diverse backgrounds to turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using NestJS (backend) and React / Vue.js (frontend).
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
  • Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and apply NoSQL databases when required.
  • Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code , following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver user-focused solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and reliability .
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives .

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs .
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL , MySQL , or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and caching solutions.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of integrating with third-party services, APIs, and libraries .
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, Express.js , or other modern stacks.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and in agile teams .
