About the Job : Job Overview :

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Bahasa Melayu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching the Malay language and culture, fostering students’ language proficiency, and creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes communication, creativity, and appreciation of the Malay heritage.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver interactive and engaging Bahasa Melayu lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of Malay traditions, literature, and heritage .
• Use a variety of teaching methods , including discussions, storytelling, multimedia, games, and hands-on activities, to engage students effectively.
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Encourage active participation and communication in Bahasa Melayu to build students’ fluency and confidence.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and achievements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and develop innovative teaching strategies.
• Organize and participate in school events, language competitions, cultural celebrations, and other co-curricular activities related to Bahasa Melayu.
