Strategy & Capability
- Pro‑actively manage and develop relationships with your allocated portfolio of customers
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio, including cross‑selling
- Develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio
- Develop and implement strategies and tactics to grow newly identified strategic clients for the country / region
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure agreed KPIs are met—monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Actively participate in rate negotiations and closely engage with network resources
- Co‑operate with the overall account owner (Global Leads) when required
Growth & Innovation
Identify new business opportunities within customer organisations to generate new revenueCoordinate with the (Global / Regional) Account Owner to qualify opportunities for pursuitImplement the latest IT tools available within the sales organisation or for strategic clientsLook for opportunities to improve the sales process and performance in collaboration with operation teamsProvide feedback to management on the progress of sales activities and potential barriers to achieving targetsOperational Excellence
Maintain data compliance to showcase new opportunities (e.g., pipelines, account plans)Support and work closely with the operation team to ensure the levels of customer service are met or exceededProactively manage client escalations such as shipment delays and issue resolutionWork with Product Heads and Operation teams to ensure maximum support is givenEnsure the personal knowledge of all relevant TOLL products and services is up to date at all timesImplement tools and technologies available with the client as required / availableMaximising Profitability
Attract new opportunities and develop existing clients to generate additional volume and profitOversee contract preparation and deal negotiations, ensuring compliance with company standardsSupport the finance team with the collection of daily sales outstanding—DSO (if required)Monitor client developments and report or escalate to line manager and functional reporting linesPutting the Customer First
