Due Diligence Analyst – APAC – Third Party Due Diligence Team

Join ABB as a Due Diligence Analyst in the APAC Third Party Due Diligence Team. This role reports to the Integrity (Operations) Manager within ABB’s Legal & Integrity team. You will be part of a new center of excellence focused on reducing legal, regulatory, and reputational risk through independent, consistent due diligence reviews across business areas and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence case work, including Simplified Due Diligence (SDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for suppliers, customers, and partners.
• Analyze counterparties’ ownership structures, sanctions exposure, and other risk factors with tools such as Orbis and sanctions databases (e.g., OFAC, EU, UK).
• Interpret findings and produce well‑structured reports that support decision‑making and compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
• Maintain audit trails and ensure documentation quality in line with due diligence standards.
• Collaborate with business areas, legal, procurement, and compliance teams to deliver case‑level insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and share knowledge within the team.
