The Associate, Finance Systems & Data Governance, plays a key role in supporting month-end close activities by resolving system issues and ensuring accurate reporting. This position manages GL / RC / PIC master data to uphold financial data integrity and compliance, contributes to enhancements in financial systems such as SAP APEX, BW, and BPC, and drives process improvements like Automated MR Adjustments. Additionally, the associate assists in budgeting and forecasting coordination, supports change management initiatives, and facilitates user training and upskilling within the Finance Systems & Data Governance team .
Make an Impact by :
- Month-End Close Support
- Support BAU activities during the financial close, including resolving system-related issues, addressing master data queries, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting outputs
- Master Data Management
- Provides day-to-day support for GL / RC / PIC master data requests, validations, and updates to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and smooth processing within our financial systems
- Ensure related hierarchies and tables are consistently and correctly updated
- BW System Support
- First line of support for BW system enquiries, troubleshooting user issues, and coordinating fixes to minimize downtime and ensure timely delivery of critical reports.
- Support on continuous improvements on current practices and processes, including enhancements and reports
- Support on requests for Automated MR Adjustments
- Responsible for ongoing updates, reconciliations, and checks related to the Hybrid Report, ensuring accuracy and consistency for users across the business
- Budgeting and Forecast Coordination
- Liaise with BU Finance, Group Business Planning, and IT to manage timelines
- Plan for RC hierarchy freeze periods
- Communicate finalized schedules to the Finance Group
- Identify and resolve retraction issues in coordination with relevant teams
- Financial Systems Support and Integration for SAP APEX, BW and BPC
- Serve as the primary contact for GL, RC, and PIC master data management.
- Provide first-line support for onboarding new entities into SAP.
- Training and Knowledge Development
- Continuously build expertise in financial systems within the FSDG team
- Share knowledge through the development of user guides and delivery of training sessions to end users
Skills for Success :
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates with relevant skills and strong interest are encouraged to apply. Applicants with a Diploma in a related field must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience to be considered.3–5 years of experience in financial systems, master data management, or SAP-related roles.Hands-on experience in SAP environments, with strong familiarity in SAP master data and access management.Proven expertise in managing SAP access and permissions.Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving challenges and market demands.Experience with accounting automation tools, particularly Microsoft Power Automate.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to various systems and databases.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conceptualize solutions and generate alternatives.Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and issues to meet tight reporting deadlines.Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across diverse environments, respond to unexpected situations, and navigate ambiguity with confidence.Track record of delivering results under pressure and within time constraints.Capable of working independently and making sound decisions.Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and support strategic decision-making aligned with customer needs.Able to evaluate options and align actions with business objectives for optimal outcomes.Customer-focused, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing needs by delivering timely and relevant solutions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
