Senior Electrical Engineer

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer Practical, hands-on work experience is required (candidates without it will not be considered) Experience with Mitsubishi PLC and GOT is an added advantage Conversational proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese clients and HQ counterparts Knowledge of PLC and operation screens (GOT), both software and hardware Basic understanding of inverters and servomotors Ability to read and work with control block diagrams (e.g., speed control) Experience handling high-voltage equipment and knowledge of power line protection concepts Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities Strong multitasking skills and ability to motivate others Overtime : May be required (OT pay provided) Business Trip : Rare; if necessary, destinations will mainly be Japan (with allowance provided) Business Trip allowance provided Annual Leave : Starts at 14 days, increasing with years of service
Overview
Our client, established in 1997, specializes in the manufacturing of nickel-plated and polished aluminum substrates for hard disk drives. With a strong foundation in Japanese technology, the company is committed to delivering world-class quality products while upholding international standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for major machine troubleshooting
- Manage spare parts and oversee preventive maintenance activities
- Liaise with counterparts in Japan on electrical technical issues
- Develop, review, update, modify, and approve electrical design plans and work schedules
- Collaborate with clients and engineers to ensure projects meet specifications
- Maintain and improve existing machines and equipment
- Analyze current processes and propose improvement initiatives
- Conduct research, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of equipment
- Prepare budgets, schedules, regulations, and other related documents
- Participate in conferences, events, networking, and professional learning opportunities
