Career Opportunities : Assistant Manager, Operations
The Assistant Manager, Catering Operations leads catering activities at operational, tactical, and strategic levels, covering meal supply, warehousing, preparation, logistics, loading, and offloading.
All operations must comply with regulatory bodies, airline policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), and service level agreement (SLA).
Key Accountability
Operational Execution :
- Lead and strategize overall operations and administration of the department in a cost-effective manner.
- Formulate, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to develop and improve day-to-day operations, safety, security, and quality of service.
- Ensure departmental administrative matters are managed according to company policy and procedures.
- Manage crisis within the catering operational area, ensuring minimal impact and adherence to safety and security policies.
Resource Planning and Management :
Plan and provide the team with adequate knowledge, skills, and competencies for their development and career progression.Ensure sufficient resources, including manpower and equipment, are available for day-to-day operation execution.Maintain a positive working environment and staff morale.Stakeholder Management :
Establish relationships with internal and external customers, meeting their needs in accordance with SLAs and service standards.Support and represent the Manager in documentation issuance and meetings as needed.Develop and implement new standard operating procedures to enhance staff productivity and reinforce safety and customer service standards.Qualification & Working Experience
Degree or Diploma in a related field with 4-5 years of working experience in Aviation / Airline Catering, or SPM with 7-8 years of experience.Areas of Experience
