We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Staff to join our client's well-established, Hong Kong-based corporate services group, which has been supporting businesses for over three decades. The company provides a comprehensive, one-stop solution for businesses entering or operating in Hong Kong, China, and other onshore and offshore jurisdictions. Their services include company formation, statutory compliance, accounting, payroll, visa processing, and trade support.They leverage cloud technologies such as Xero and digital compliance tools to streamline operations, serving a broad client base that includes overseas and local businesses from small startups to multinational enterprises. Their clients span entrepreneurs, consultancies, manufacturers, trading firms, SMEs, and other startups.

This position is responsible for managing the full set of accounts for assigned corporate clients, supporting the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, solid client communication abilities, and experience in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the work of the Administration Officer and serve as a backup when required.
• Manage a full set of accounts for assigned Hong Kong corporate clients under HKFRS.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and consolidation statements.
• Handle audit preparation and liaise with auditors and tax representatives for statutory audits and tax filings.
• Communicate with international and local clients on accounting matters and provide advice in compliance with Hong Kong regulations.
• Review accounting entries and support junior accounting staff as needed.
• Stay updated on developments in HKFRS / IFRS and other regulatory changes.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and accounting-related tasks as directed.
