Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative with keen interest in selling agricultural tools to oil palm plantations in Malaysia and globally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate willingness to learn about the palm oil industry, have strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to effectively showcase products in plantation environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to travel extensively across Malaysia and internationally, with a competitive compensation package including allowances and commission.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development : Identify and pursue sales opportunities to market the Kingoya Brand of agritools to the oil palm plantation sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with plantation managers, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and recommend suitable agritools to enhance plantation operations and help improve the productivity of plantations. Training will be provided.
- Product Demonstrations : Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations on-site at plantations. Clearly explain the benefits and applications of agritools in the context of oil palm cultivation.
- Travel and Territory Management : Travel extensively across Malaysia to meet clients, conduct demonstrations, and close sales deals.
- Sales Targets and Reporting : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Prepare regular sales reports and provide market feedback to management for product and strategy improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
A diploma or degree related to Business or Agriculture . Graduates from University Pertanian Malaysia strongly encouraged to apply.Industry Knowledge : Strong knowledge of and interest in the oil palm plantation industry is highly preferred.Sales and Product Expertise : Willing to learn all areas of plantation management and the marketing of agricultural tools or related products to the sector. Previous sales experience in any area related to agriculture is an advantage.Interpersonal and Communication Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with diverse clients and negotiate effectively. Proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is an advantage.Other Requirements :Mobility and Flexibility : Willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia and to be stationed outstation for prolonged periods is a must.
A valid driver’s license is required.We are also willing to accept fresh graduates who are self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a sales environment.Compensation and Benefits
