About the role

We are seeking a diligent and hardworking General Construction Worker to join our team at BLOGVIEW MARKETING SDN. BHD.' in Ipoh Perak. As a General Construction Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and opportunities for growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a variety of manual labour tasks to support ongoing construction projects
  • Assisting skilled tradesmen with the installation, maintenance and repair of building materials and components
  • Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Transporting and moving building materials, equipment and tools as required
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborating with the construction team to deliver high-quality work

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a General Construction Worker or in a similar labourer role
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new construction techniques and technologies
