Job Description & Responsibilities - Account
Financial Reporting : Analyzing consolidated financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries in accordance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborating with the finance team to develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the group and its subsidiaries, monitoring performance against these budgets, and providing regular reporting to senior management.
Financial Analysis : Conducting financial analysis of the group's financial performance, identifying key trends, and providing insights and recommendations to management to help drive business decisions
Internal Controls and Compliance : Ensuring that the group's financial operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls, and that appropriate accounting policies and procedures are in place.
Stakeholder Management : Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, banks, and investors, to ensure the smooth functioning of the group's financial operations.
Management Accounting : Preparing and analyzing management accounts for the group and its subsidiaries, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Treasury Management : Overseeing the group's treasury function, including cash management, debt management, and foreign exchange risk management.
Overall, the Group Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health of the organization and providing valuable insights and guidance to support business decisions.
Taxation and Regulatory Matters : Manage corporate tax computations, submissions, and liaise with tax authorities.
