Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum and IPC, Secondary Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE and A Level based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

Due to rapid expansion in the school, we are seeking a Teacher of Biology for August 2026 or earlier where possible.

We seek an innovative practitioner with strong subject knowledge and experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Biology who can create lessons that not only convey essential theoretical concepts but also connect them to real-world applications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire students by exploring the wonders of biology and demonstrating its relevance in everyday life. Your lessons will incorporate hands-on experiments and practical activities that allow students to see scientific principles in action. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will encourage students to work together, ask questions, and develop their investigative skills, making learning both enjoyable and impactful.

Your innovative teaching methods will engage students with diverse learning styles, using technology, visual aids, and interactive resources to bring complex concepts to life. You will guide them through the scientific process, from formulating hypotheses to conducting experiments and analyzing data, ensuring they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for future success in science.

As part of our dedicated faculty, you will collaborate with colleagues to enhance the biology curriculum, aligning it with IGCSE and A Level standards while integrating the latest advancements in the field. Job Requirements

Education Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in the subject area applied with post graduate teaching qualification. A Masters degree is desirable.
• Leadership positions require relevant and recent experience
• Chemistry A-Level Teaching – Added Advantage
