We are looking for a resourceful and proactive individual to join us as the IT Lead. Reporting to the Executive Director, this person is responsible for driving technology solutions that strengthen FOFM's mission and operational excellence. This person will oversee IT systems, safeguard data, and pioneer practical, innovative tools that expand our impact – always seeking smarter, cost-effective ways to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Systems & Innovation
- Collaborate with teams (e.g. Website, Communications) to solve technical challenges such as Wordpress management, integrations (Adaptis-ipay88) and system optimisation.
- Manage and optimise back-end systems (e.g. DynaMail, Alaya, SiteGIant, CiviCRM, Vodia, Automate, SiteGround, etc.) and system integrations (e.g. Adaptis-iPay88) to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Research, test and implement cost-effective, innovative IT / CRM tools (e.g. Fluent Forms, open-source solutions) to maximise work efficiency and impact.
2. Data Management & Security
Design and maintain smooth data flows and integrations (e.g. Fluent Forms ->Google Sheets) for analytics and communication.
Ensure accurate and efficient data management (recording, processing, storage, archiving, and retrieval).Proactively guard systems with cybersecurity policies and data-handling practices and tools (AIOWS, Wordfence, HTACCESS) to comply with all privacy standards.Monitor data traffic for performance and security risks, optimising systems accordingly (SiteGround, WordPress).3. IT Administration & Operational Support
Plan and maintain IT infrastructure for 99.5%+ uptime and minimal disruption.Manage software licenses, IT budgets, and procurement, prioritising cost-efficient solutions (e.g. open-source tools and life-time licenses).Provide hardware and software support and resolve issues within 24 hours.Deliver staff training on emerging technologies as and when needed.4. Organisational Support & Culture
Uphold and strengthen FOFM's brand through all IT initiatives, ensuring systems support mission impact.Provide on-site tech support at organisational events.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) is an advantage.years in IT management, systems administration, or related roles.Proven record of delivering creative, practical solutions.Skilled in Wordpress, CRM systems (CiviCRM), and integration tools (Adaptis-iPay88, Fluent Forms).Familiar with cybersecurity practices and data platforms (Google Sheets, cloud services).Comfortable exploring and implementing cost-effective, innovative tools (open-source, automation).Are you passionate about technology and want to help meet the growing needs of families nationwide?
