Interface Manager – Signalling

Siemens Mobility is pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced Interface Manager for our rail infrastructure projects. This role is critical to coordinating signalling interfaces across onshore, offshore, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and railway regulations.

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful and Future‑Oriented

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all signalling‑related interfaces across onshore, offshore, and external project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with offshore design teams to ensure deliverables align with onshore requirements and project timelines.
• Review and consolidate design submissions (SIP, Bonding Plan, Cable Plan, ATP, Book of Wiring), ensuring alignment and consistency with interface requirements.
• Lead signalling‑interlocking interface activities with ATP, CTC, Communication, Civil & Building, Trackwork, and Electrification teams.
• Manage and oversee all interface documentation, including ICDs, IDDs, and Interface Matrices, ensuring compliance with project standards, Siemens procedures, and relevant railway regulations.
• Facilitate technical discussions, interface meetings, and workshops to resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Maintain ongoing communication between offshore and onshore teams to track design status, updates, and issue resolution.
• Ensure accurate consolidation of Bills of Materials for all sub‑projects / work packages, maintaining proper change control.
• Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) phases and provide technical assistance during integration, installation, and on‑site activities.
• Escalate critical design or coordination issues promptly and report project progress to the Technical / Project Manager.
