Overview
As the Assistant Treasury Manager , you will play a critical role in securing financing and managing treasury operation across DayOne’s regional footprint . Reporting to the Senior Regional Treasury Manager and with exposure to the Head of Treasury you will assist to manage financial risks and treasury operations that support DayOne’s growth in the digital infrastructure and sustainability space.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank & Funding Relationships : supports Treasury Manager in maintaining relationships with regional banking partners, negotiating services, fees, and facilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain financial information such as project costs, financing costs, and capital requirements for loan applications and reviews.
- Prepare and submit documents for Know Your Client (KYC) and loan application requirements.
- Assist in negotiating loan documentation by coordinating with lawyers and lenders to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Liaise with valuers to conduct land or asset valuations as required for the loan application and review process, ensuring accurate assessments are provided to support financing.
- Risk Management & Treasury Controls : ensure the company’s compliance with loan conditions and covenants via timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage risks including liquidity, FX exposure, and interest rate fluctuations.
- Implement and maintain robust treasury policies, controls, and segregation of duties.
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to support the organization’s evolving needs and priorities.
Experience
5 – 10 years in corporate treasury or financial institutions , ideally in a regional or multinational environment.Proven experience in financing solutions and maintaining strong banking relationships . Strong knowledge in financing document is an added advantage.Hands-on expertise in liquidity management, cash forecasting, working capital optimization, and treasury operations .Experience in data center, infrastructure, or real estate industries preferred; financial services background valuable.Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Professional treasury or finance certifications (e.g., CTP, ACA, ACCA, AMCT) are an advantage.Technical & Soft Skills
Strong analytical and financial skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages (e.g., Malay, Mandarin) are an advantage.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Collaborative team player with strong organizational abilities, resilient under pressure.Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-border environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
