Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes, ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation to support tax filings and facilitate audits by tax authorities.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and minimize the company's tax liabilities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and assist with tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to support the company's tax positions.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders within the company.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and complete information for tax reporting purposes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide support to senior tax staff on complex tax matters and projects.
Job Requirements
Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Senior tax - 3 years and above experience in tax, able to speak in Mandarin is a great advantage.Junior tax - fresh graduates is welcome to apply and must able to speak in Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.Exhibit proficiency in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.Maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation and compliance tasks.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address tax-related issues.Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on changes in tax legislation.Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Proficient in using accounting software and tax preparation tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.Job Benefits
