Responsibilities

• Improve CapCut users’ search experience by determining their search needs through query and tools, and subsequently sort them out by classification of requirements.
• Undergo weekly and bi-monthly search quality assessments to ensure current practice is in accordance with evaluation standard documents.
• Review the types of bad search cases and rate the quality of the results.
• Provide ideal search labelling results and suggestions for policy improvement.

The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience and contribute significant DAU impact to the products, driving increased traffic and GMV. The T&S evaluation and investigation team works closely with the search team, using evaluation standards as baseline to manually evaluate the search query and the corresponding search results page to reflect the real user experience. The team provides search and evaluation services for international products with global collaboration and unified guidelines. The evaluation scope covers multiple search sections, including basic search experience, recommended search, search advertising, and search security. The team also coordinates standard writing, training Q&A, report output, and human efficiency management to promote project execution and implementation. It is possible that this role may be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role or in response to escalation requests; this may involve images, video, and text related to everyday life, including bullying, hate speech, child safety, depictions of harm to self or others, and harm to animals.
