Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Fresh graduate and 1-3 years
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Great attention to details
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people of all levels, and be a team player is essential
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Command of verbal and written Malaysian and English is essential.
  • Good proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., Auto count )
  • Ability to complete the task follow deadline .

Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
  • Assist in Full set of account
  • Help in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare TT / payment to vendors / Utilities / CP204 / WHT payment etc
  • Monitor & update fixed asset listing and monthly cost of depreciation
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
  • Assist the accounting team with other ad-hoc assignments as needed
  • Assist Account Executive to prepare the documents for Audit submission and liaise with auditors / tax agents / secretaries / bankers on company related matters if needed
  • Reconcile supplier for the SOA before payment is made
  • Assist and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial closing report and processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
