Lead Rotating Engineer - Offshore Platforms
Location : Kuala Lumpur / Site (as required)
Employment Type : 2-Year Contract
Overview :
Lead all rotating equipment engineering activities including compressors, pumps, turbines, and auxiliary systems for offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with specifications and international codes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead rotating equipment engineering team and manage technical aspects
- Develop and maintain equipment design philosophies, specifications, and datasheets
- Prepare and review requisitions, vendor documents, and technical bid evaluations
- Ensure equipment designs meet performance, reliability, and safety standards
- Review and approve vendor documents and installation procedures
- Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and structural teams
- Support fabrication, installation, commissioning, FAT, and performance verification
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and reliability / availability studies
- Mentor junior engineers
