Overview
Senior Account Manager role at Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad .
To assess project viability of financing applications and prepare credit proposal for approval in the sectors mandated to BPMB in order to achieve the annual budget and contribute towards achieving the financial targets and growth of loan asset of the bank.
Location : Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret past financial accounts and compare the turnover growth, profitability, financial ratios with those of similar establishments in the same industries.
- Evaluate other credit aspects including the management, industry, market competition, security and cash flow projections to ensure that the project is financially and commercially viable with appropriate covenants, terms and conditions imposed.
- Identify, assess and mitigate the project risks.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposal (for new or additional facility) and credit review (for existing facility) including risk analysis for relevant credit committee’s approval and endorsement (i.e. Group Credit Committee and Board Credit Committee (if required)).
- Process and prepare proposal paper for changes of terms and conditions of financing such as increase in financing tenure, financing amount and changes in key management team or security arrangement.
- Prepare Letter of Offer and Letter of Changes in accordance with the approved terms and conditions.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, bankers, solicitors, valuers and regulatory authorities during the course of credit evaluation and the supporting departments of the bank.
- Visit clients and project sites for projects under evaluation.
- Ensure fast and efficient credit appraisal and good customer relationship in order to enhance customer loyalty.
- Entertaining queries from existing and potential clients.
- Perform credit check through CTOS, CCRIS and RAMCI to evaluate customer conduct of account and credit history.
- Assist in presentation of financing proposals to the Approving Authority.
- Ensure compliance with credit policy and guidelines including the timely submission of credit proposal to the approving authorities.
- Provide feedback / input on improvement to the areas pertaining to credit policy and guidelines.
- Strive to enhance personal skills, knowledge and expertise.
- Inducts and guides new recruits.
Qualifications
