Overview
As part of our ongoing growth and curriculum expansion at the VCE level, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Media Teacher to join our Senior School team. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with a solid grounding in media theory, production, and contemporary media issues. You will guide students in the design and creation of media products across a range of formats including film, television, audio, photography, print, digital, and animation while fostering their critical and analytical thinking skills.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Years 10 - 12Plan and implement engaging, creative, and well-structured learning experiencesGuide students in hands-on media production across multiple formatsFoster a stimulating learning environment that promotes student achievement and enthusiasmWork collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and school initiativesMonitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedbackUphold and contribute to the school's safeguarding and child protection standardsQualifications
A minimum of 6 years of teaching experienceA recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, or Degree with PGCE)Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience teaching media at VCE, CAIE, IB, IEB, or another recognised curriculumStrong classroom management and administrative skillsPassion for student development and successCommitment to cultural sensitivity and adaptability in an international settingExperience with student management systems such as iSAMS or SIMSPrior teaching experience in Southeast AsiaAdditional Information
