General & Operational Accounting Sr. Specialist

Overview

General & Operational Accounting Sr. Specialist role at NTT DATA North America. This position is remote from Malaysia (MY-14), Kuala Lumpur area.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general ledger accounting (examples : accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, fixed assets, intercompany, tax & statutory).
• Perform monthly accounting close activities (preparing & posting journal entries, analyzing financial statements and ledger activities), prepare balance sheet reconciliations, conduct fluctuation analysis on balance sheet items and support monthly / quarterly reporting requirements.
• Review financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Assist with reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating across finance and non-finance functions.
• Support analysis of journals, data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis.
• Assist with implementing effective financial controls, including system reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
• Support management of overall financial forecasting processes.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform other relevant tasks as requested by management.
