The Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen, invites applications for at least one full-time position (Tenure-Track Assistant Professor / Associate Professor) in Work, Organizational, and / or Personnel Psychology. The position is available from 1 May 2026, but an earlier or later starting date is also possible. Duties And Responsibilities
Contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the University by conducting high-quality basic or applied research, delivering excellent teaching and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and fulfilling additional roles and responsibilities depending on the level of appointment. Candidates should conduct and develop their own research in synergy with the Department\'s ongoing work and help implement the current departmental strategy and goals. Your Competencies And Opportunities
PhD degree in Psychology or a neighboring field, with an active research program relevant to Work, Organizational, and / or Personnel Psychology. Qualifications are commensurate with rank. Experience with research and research-based teaching; for Associate Professor, supervision of junior researchers is expected. Strong collaborative skills and willingness to take on academic and organizational citizenship or leadership roles within the Department. Ability to teach and plan courses; candidates should demonstrate teaching qualifications and pursue formal teaching and learning education in higher education for Tenure Track and Associate appointments. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on teaching, research projects, and administrative duties; commitment to student learning and welfare. Open to expertise in any areas within Work, Organizational, and / or Personnel Psychology, whether strengthening or complementing existing expertise. Merit Criteria And Career Progression
Six general criteria apply : research, teaching, societal impact, organizational contribution, external funding, and management, used as a framework for overall assessment. Tenure Track appointments require PhD-level qualifications, six-year contracts with potential promotion to Associate Professor after successful evaluation. Salary and terms follow the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (Akademikerne). In addition to salary, an 18.07% pension contribution is paid. Salary supplements may be negotiated annually. International Applicants
