Penerangan pekerjaanFormal qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical certification or diploma or wireman or chargeman certification preferred At least SPM qualification with credit in English and Maths Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficient work Good communication and teamwork skills Commitment to workplace safety and quality of work Able to work independently Dynamic, hardworking, self motivated, dedicated and good sense of responsibility Welder's certification and qualification and ability to perform arc welding would be an added advantage Mechanical knowledge would be an added advantage PLC knowledge would be an added advantage Insurance coverage EPF SOCSO SIP
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at TTLIM Engineering Sdn Bhd in Simpang Ampat, Penang. As a full-time Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment, especially material handling equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for assembling the control box required for material handling equipments
- Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs for material handling equipments such as overhead travelling crane, goods hoist, scissors lift, dockleveller etc.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on material handling equipments
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime to material handling equipments
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical components and wiring for material handling equipments
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of electrical systems for material handling equipment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices
