Product Development Engineer (DRAM)

As a SpecTek DRAM Applications and Process Development Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the planning, development, and monitoring of product testing. During this process you will follow quality standards as specified by SpecTek and Micron. Responsibilities

Plan, Develop, Conduct, and Monitor Product Testing and Results Create and develop test programs for SpecTek products. Conduct tests, gather and analyze data, and document results and tests using feedback from performance in the intended application to tune the testing methodology. Monitor product performance on the test floor, and maintain the program for yield improvements / enhancements, test time reduction, new capabilities, and manufacturing process changes. Document and provide feedback of test results to stakeholders. Monitor / evaluate yields to ensure delivery of quality products. Communicate and report findings with SpecTek management and engineering in a concise and effective format. Practice production quality standards as specified by SpecTek and Micron and help set those standards as needed. Maintain documentation and utilize revision control for all software. Develop and maintain device / part knowledge as well as equipment, systems, and test processes. Collaborate with other departments worldwide to develop and maintain product knowledge or technology. Develop and optimize software and tools to provide automation solutions that enable output improvement, yield improvement, quality improvement, cost reduction, efficiency gain, and accuracy. Investigate manufacturing issues related to Probe and Test processes and identify and implement solutions. Identify the root cause of the issue, ensure containment, and ensure that corrective action is implemented in a timely manner. Manage and analyze module Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring accurate processing and comprehensive reporting to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Ensure all test programs, scripts, or any other software are tested and debugged prior to a production release. Keep abreast of changing IT technologies, introduce, and adapt methodology to improve software solutions. Manage software application development by adapting and aligning to Micron internal standards and guidelines. Work with internal customers, suppliers, and other sites to develop and implement improvements that reduce cost and / or improve quality and / or reliability. Identify and promptly report any conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHS policies or procedures. Follow safety procedures and area work rules (including use of proper PPE, energy isolation, and chemical safety). Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer and company guidelines. Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner. Cooperate with all audits. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 0 to 5 years of experience with Semiconductor Business, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Programming, Production / Manufacturing field. Have demonstrated a working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating environments. Have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and applications. Have demonstrated proficiency with C++, C#, Python and / or Perl program languages. MSSQL and MySQL relational database systems knowledge. Have demonstrated the following electronic and electric circuit knowledge : digital systems and electronic logic; transistor operation; analog circuit technology. Have demonstrated a working knowledge of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Have demonstrated knowledge of basic algorithms and programming data structures. Have demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize work, and meet firm deadlines in high pressure situations without compromising quality. Have demonstrated strong listening, motivating, interpersonal interacting, and time management skills. Have displayed proficient verbal and written communication skills. Have demonstrated excellent attention to detail with ability to produce highly accurate work while providing corrective suggestions for resolution to identified gaps or risks. Have demonstrated being a self-starter, self-motivator, and driven for results. Have demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
