Senior SAP Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to support end-to-end data migration activities for SAP implementation and transformation programs (primarily SAP S/4HANA). The consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration from legacy systems to SAP, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end SAP data migration activities across project phases (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy).
• Perform data assessment, profiling, and cleansing in legacy systems.
• Design and maintain data migration strategy, approach, and cutover plans .
• Develop and execute data mapping, transformation, and validation rules .
• Configure and use SAP data migration tools such as:

LSMW

SAP Data Services (BODS)

Custom programs / ETL tools (as applicable)

• Coordinate with functional consultants (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) to understand data requirements.
• Execute mock loads, test loads, and production cutover loads .
• Perform data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.
• Support UAT, cutover rehearsals, and go-live activities .
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and risks.
• Prepare and maintain migration documentation , including mapping sheets, load status reports, and sign-off documents.
• Work closely with business users and IT teams to ensure data readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6–10 years of SAP experience , with 3+ years in SAP Data Migration .
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration projects .
• Strong knowledge of SAP master data and transactional data , such as:
• Business Partner
• Material Master
• GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
• Open balances and historical data
• Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and/or SAP Data Services .
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and reconciliation .
• Ability to work in complex, multi-system environments .
