• ### Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• ### 2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

• ### Perform Spend Analysis to support sourcing strategy and annual plan development.
• ### Perform study of supply market intelligence (market, vendor, product, commodity, etc).
• ### Implement procurement programs and develop knowledge and skill improvement within Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia.
• ### Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives within Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia.
• ### Support the development and drive the implementation of Group Procurement strategies, policies and initiatives at Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia.
• ### Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes.
• ### Lead / Manage the procurement processes at Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia level; tender management.
• ### Drive the alignment of Divisional SOP to GPPA and ensure compliance to GPPA.
• ### Drive and manage capability development and knowledge management for the Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia.###
• Operation
• ### Ensure new vendors are pre-qualified in accordance to GPPA / Division SOP requirement.
• ### Oversee the procurement process arising from Group wide purchase requisition.
• ### Conduct tenders in accordance to Division SOP / GPPA and make recommendations to Tender Committee.
• ### Understanding and influencing sourcing project / business requirements. Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies / quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and shifts in technology.
• ### Supplier Classification, Relationship Management and contract management
• ### Proactively work with Stakeholders and assist in or directly manage spend
• ### Monitor Strategic / key Suppliers to provide internal notifications and develop risk mitigation scenarios.
• ### Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and current inventory levels
