Are you passionate about real estate development and eager to be part of a renowned international property developer expanding its footprint in Malaysia? I’m currently assisting my client — a leading foreign developer — in hiring a Business Development Assistant Manager (Residential) to join their growing team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This role blends strategic business development with hands-on project involvement — working closely with top local developers on high-value residential and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build strong relationships with potential JV partners for residential and mixed-use developments.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Assist in negotiations, deal structuring, due diligence, and preparation of investment proposals.
  • Support JV partners throughout project execution — covering planning, cost control, marketing, and construction.
  • Monitor project performance, financials, and returns to ensure success.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in property development, investment, or real estate financing.
  • Strong analytical skills with sound knowledge of the Malaysian property market.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
