Heat Treatment Lab Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Responsible for conducting lab testing as required.
• Responsible for hardness tester verification.
• Handling of waste after testing and dispose at correct waste storage area. Responsible for sample preparation prior to conduct measurement.
• Reporting the defective products and assist to analyze the abnormality found at Heat Treatment line.
• To prepare daily documentation as required for inspection and testing (if applicable).
• Update the testing result into the defined format and share via email to internal team in shift basis.
• Remove the residue and change the coolant for cutting machine at defined period.
• To perform daily verification on hardness tester using test block prior to conduct hardness test.
• Issue stop quarantine card and update into tracking file upon detect any non-conformity part.
• To perform housekeeping duty as required and ensure workplaceis neat and before shift change.
• To assist in the performing the duties of a QA Inspector as required.
• Better understanding on ISO 14001 requirements.
• Better understanding in identifying hazardous waste and make proper disposal arrangement to the scheduled waste storage.
• To carry out other duties as and when assigned by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT :

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : RM2, RM2,300.00 per month
