Mechanical Technical Writer / Documentation Engineer

• Create 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings for custom parts using SolidWorks.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in SolidWorks (including parts, assemblies, and drawings).
• Develop and maintain product assembly drawings, sub-assembly drawings, and exploded views with clear technical notes.
• Apply solid knowledge of mechanical drafting standards.
• Write step-by-step mechanical assembly procedures and work instructions to guide production staff, maintenance staff or customers.
• Proven experience in writing mechanical assembly instructions, operation manuals, or similar technical documents.
• Describe maintenance cycles, procedures, and precautions for disassembly of wearing parts.
• Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment.
• Translate and localize technical documentation between English and Chinese, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams to continuously improve the quality of technical documentation.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and logical thinking.
