Personal Banker Bancassurance (Nationwide)

To promote various types of life‑insurance products by Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd under the exclusive Bancassurance partnership between RHB Bank and Tokio Marine.

To sell a wide range of banking products to existing and prospective customers.

To achieve sales / revenue targets assigned by the bank and contribute to overall branch targets.

To maintain regular contact with customers to develop relationships for a higher share of their wallet.

To participate in branch, region, and bank sales activities and campaigns to achieve deliverables.

To prepare and proactively execute sales plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote, introduce and market a range of Tokio Marine’s life‑insurance products to bank customers, including Whole Life Plan, Endowment Plan, Medical Plan and Investment Linked Plan.
• Perform needs‑based selling by understanding customers’ financial goals, protection needs, saving, education, medical and retirement savings.
• Brief and ensure customers understand the insurance plan features and charges, and prepare product quotations with disclosure explanations.
• Assist customers with premium payment, policy enquiry, policy servicing and claims related matters.
• Prepare and proactively execute sales plans for prospective customers from bank leads (LMS) and self‑generated leads.
• Actively participate and collaborate with other sales personnel at branch / region on sales activities and campaigns for customer acquisition and retention.
• Plan and identify cross‑selling / up‑selling to increase customers’ PHR and revenue.
• Set appointments, sales visitations, prospecting and engagement with customers.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster closer relationships and for referrals.
• Work closely with Branch Manager and Regional Sales Heads on sales activities, promotion and campaigns.
• Comply with CPD hours and ensure completion rate of CFF forms.
• Comply with bank policies, procedures and observe the sales code of ethics.
