Our client is seeking a self‑motivated and detailed‑oriented Software Test Engineer to deliver exceptional user experience. The role involves ensuring mobile platform software quality on‑site at Mercu 2, KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur.

Role Responsibilities

Analyze complex software systems and design testing strategies.
Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions.
Develop customer‑centric test scenarios that extend beyond stated use cases.
Participate in release management and post‑deployment testing.
Use bug‑tracking tools to identify, prioritise and track defects across platforms.
Design test plans, write test cases, and review functional requirement documentation for each platform.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (web / Android / iOS developers, QAs, product managers, and designers) to understand platform‑specific requirements and ensure consistent quality standards.

Key Requirements

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years (junior level) or 5 years (senior level) of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on testing web, Android, and / or iOS applications.

Proficiency in testing methodologies for web, Android, and / or iOS.

Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Charles Proxy and Jira.

Experience with automation frameworks is a strong advantage.
