We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for below role

Senior Engineer, Mechanical Package

We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

• Understands the specifications and requirements in the area of marine mechanical packages and equipment (such as Essential and Emergency Generator, Non API pumps, Fire water pumps, Garco pumps, Inert Gas Generator package, low and High Foam Expansion Packages, etc., ) of the assigned package. - Responsible for Mechanical Marine vendor packaged equipment in compliance with applicable International codes (such as IMO, SOLAS) Classification Rules, ASME, etc.,
• Independently develops technical specifications / standards and Requisitions for marine packaged equipment and system such as Essential and Emergency Generator, Non API pumps, Inert Gas Generator package, low and High Foam Expansion Packages, etc.
• Independently evaluates the technical aspects of bids received from suppliers and concludes assessment to the bide. Generally, less complex packages and middle risk equipment are assigned.
• Assists in placing and executing the orders. After orders, independently reviews Supplier documents (such as data sheets, drawings) for their completeness, accuracy and compliance. Being the focal point, liaises and coordinates with various stakesholders.
• Provides technical / engineering support / visit and advice for quality work at supplier shop and Construction / Commissioning work at site.
• Independently resolves technical issues using expert knowledge and technical know-how that may arise during the execution of package engineering, fabrication and post delivery.
• To ensure business activities and decisions conform to the laws and regulations and demonstrates high standard of ethical behaviour.
