Store Technician, Operating Theatre

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain par level at the medical and non-medical stores to provide 24 hours supply of items by monitoring the minimum and maximum level.
• Perform daily checks of stock balance in all sub stores.
• Credit back unused items into the system and keeps unused items in store.
• Monitor and check that items are properly rotated to prevent expiry of items.
• Check and replace items used, damaged or expired.
• Update all requisition documents (par-level, store requisition, chargeable and non-chargeable item) with the inventory code to key into the HMIS.
• Check that all delivery documents are properly stamped with assigned control log number and updates receipts control log number and sent to finance department for posting.
• Monitor of the late charges for the info of Nurse Manager.
• Check and compare the physical quantities against those in the computerized system, investigates cause of discrepancies and take remedial action when required.
• Monitor stock level in the OT stores to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and proper stock rotation of items to prevent expiry of items.
• Participate and assist the Nurse Manager in the implementation of internal controls, process improvements and store projects.
• Perform all others related tasks and duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
