Lab & Site Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lab Manager in organizing and distributing testing work to the General Technicians.
• Ensure all test equipment and measuring tools are in working condition and track calibration status.
• Inform Lab Manager if any equipment breakdown is found.
• Conduct testing and record data into test reports while performing testing.
• Collect test items from customers when required.
• Ensure the condition of the curing tank is satisfactory and maintain cleanliness of laboratory premises at all times.
• Ensure laboratory management, technical and quality procedures are followed at all times.
• Report any deviation of test method or procedure when performing tests.
• Report any undue influence from customers or their representatives on the test procedure or the result.
• Maintain and service test machines / equipment / measuring tools in top condition.
• Report to the Lab Manager on conditions, requirements and inventory of laboratory test machines / equipment / tools.
• Attend meetings and trainings (both internal and external) when directed by superior.
• Carry out laboratory activities as required by the Managers from time to time.
