Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, cash flow, payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, PCB).
Prepare day-to-day accounting entries and month-end close.
Prepare monthly management accounts for submission to Singapore.
Prepare annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and presentation to management
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, banks, and government authorities (e.g., LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF).
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as corporate tax, SST, and Companies Act.
Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Human Resources
HR full spectrum including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance appraisal, and offboarding.
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook in line with Malaysian labour law.
Foster positive employee relations and handle disciplinary / grievance matters.
Support organizational development, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Employment Act 1955 and other relevant HR regulations in Malaysia.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, labour legislation, and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Communication, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting / HR software.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
