We are a plantation group listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and we invite suitable candidates to apply for the following position :
Responsibilities
- To supervise daily estate operation activities such as harvesting, manuring, field upkeep, and nursery.
- To manage store (fertilizer, chemicals, etc) and other tools.
- Cultivating in oil palm plantations with knowledge in fertilizer and chemical application.
- Check the discipline quality and standard of work assigned to the field workers.
- Monitoring monthly fieldwork program.
- Supervise estates administration works by reporting to Assistant Manager based on deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum a pass in SPMAt least 2 years of working experience in a similar capacityDiploma in the related field is preferredCandidate with Diploma will be an added advantageMinimum 5 years’ experience in plantation administrative, payroll and well versed with statutory requirementsProficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and other languages are an added advantageMust be self-motivated and independent, proficient in computerPossess Sijil Pembantu Pengawai Perubatan Grade I, II & III from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia, and must be registered with EHA Board (LPPHE)1-2 years’ experience in oil palm plantation is an added advantageFresh graduates with Diploma in Medical Assistant from related nursing schools and registered with Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia are encouraged to applyResponsible and able to work independently1-2 years’ relevant experience in the related field. Those with audit background will be given preferenceKnowledge of the Income Tax is an added advantageGood interpersonal skills and able to work independentlyDegree or Diploma in Agricultural Science or any Science disciplineMinimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacitySPM or equivalent with minimum 10 years’ experience in oil palm plantation will be considered for those without Diploma / DegreeIdentify all applicable acts, regulations, and other requirements, establish the Legal & Other Requirements Register (LORR), and periodically monitor the status of the Action Plan for compliance with identified regulations and other legal requirements that are related to the department.Maintain the EHS and Sustainability document (development, upkeep, distribution, and communication)Conduct monthly site visits – Engage, consult, and assist Operating Units (OU) in compliance with regulations related to EHSS and MSPO requirements.Internal and external Audit (MSPO)(a) Assist in planning the audit schedule(b) Assist the lead auditor in conducting the internal audit(c) Providing resources to auditors, communicating with the OU Management on audit main activities and audit result analysis(d) Ensuring non-conformance, observation and opportunity for improvement reports are attended to for both internal and external audits(e) Follow up on non-conformance, observation and opportunity for improvementAssist OU in preparation of other visits / inspections / audits by the government agencies (DOSH and DOE)Compile and prepare monthly, periodic or ad-hoc reports / feedback on EHSS initiatives / activities at the site; Incident investigation & reporting and follow-up; Waste data analysis; Energy consumption; MSPO Trace; Minutes of meetings; Traceability to Plantation; Surveys / Questionnaires by buyers and other stakeholders; Other related updatesAssist in the preparation of the Annual Sustainability StatementMonitor action plan for Environmental Management Program (EMP), SIA, HCV and Biodiversity Assessment.Analyse and monitor action plan for CHRA, NRA, Environmental Self Regulation, and Environment Compliance ReportAssist OU in conducting and reviewing EAI and HIRARC as and when requiredArrange & conduct training, campaigns & meetings related to EHSSTo liaise with government agencies / NGOs where related to job functionsAny other work assigned by the Manager relevant to the job and department.Boiler and related operations
Fully responsible for the daily operation of the boiler and related machinery.Ensure workers in the boiler area comply with safety procedures, SOPs, and the use of PPE.Prepare the boiler for annual inspection, including internal and external cleaning.Monitor and control smoke emissions to comply with environmental standards.Continuously monitor boiler performance and report any abnormalities.Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records.Oversee the safe operation of other equipment including turbine, generator set, and switchboard.Assist or stand in for the Engine Driver / Operator when required to ensure smooth operations.Boilerman Requirements
Minimum 2nd Grade Boilerman Certificate.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Boilerman in the palm oil industry with exposure to biomass boilers.Well-versed with boiler maintenance, troubleshooting and handling annual DOSH inspection requirements.Knowledge of repair and maintenance practices is an added advantage.Submit your detail now and we will contact you soon.
