  • Spearhead the acquisition and management of SME segment deposits, with a particular focus on investment products, to drive growth and enhance market positioning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new SME accounts while strategically growing existing accounts to meet the growth targets set by management.
  • Achieve targets / KPIs primarily for Non-Individual Deposits, followed by Individual Deposits (CASATIA & Non-CASATIA).
  • Conduct competitive analysis on offerings and services, providing management with insights into market trends and best practices.
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive business plan for Deposit Business, including acquiring new SME accounts and expanding the existing client base.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports to the State Deposit Manager (SDM) and HQ Sales Team, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and top management at client organizations, ensuring long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Monitor the performance of SME products and assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, including promotional programs and campaigns.
  • Provide support to branches in addressing queries related to the SME deposit business, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries with a focus on maintaining strong relationships, prioritizing SME relationship management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, guidelines, and all relevant external regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Document meeting outcomes and action items by preparing detailed activity reports (call reports) after every customer interaction.
  • Undertake any other duties or assignments as directed by superiors to meet evolving business needs.
  • Job Requirements

    • Proven Experience : Minimum of 5years in deposit management, sales, or business development within the banking or financial services industry, with a strong focus on SME segment.
    • Strong Sales and Business Acumen : Demonstrated ability to drive growth and achieve sales targets, with experience in acquiring new clients and managing existing relationships.
    • In-Depth Knowledge of SME Banking : Extensive knowledge of SME banking products, services, and customer needs, including investment products and deposit solutions.
    • Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute business plans and sales strategies to meet long-term goals and objectives.
    • Relationship Management Skills : Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with senior decision-makers, top management, and key stakeholders.
    • Market Insight : Strong understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes impacting the SME banking sector.
    • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze market data, competitor services, and internal performance to inform decision-making and strategy development.
    • Customer-Centric Mindset : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and effective resolution of inquiries and complaints.
    • Leadership and Team Collaboration : Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff to achieve team and departmental objectives.
    • Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance in all areas of responsibility.
    • Results-Oriented : Strong drive to achieve and exceed targets, with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
    • Excellent Communication Skills : Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving Abilities : Ability to think critically and resolve complex issues quickly, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.
    • Self-Driven : Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and deliver results.
