Position Summary

Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive / corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Ensure sterilization equipment operates within specified parameters.

Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspections.

Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.

Oversee daily radiation plant operations and minimize downtime.

Analyze and enhance irradiation processes for better efficiency and quality.

Ensure consistent process quality and support audits and validations.

Lead projects involving equipment installation, upgrades, and coordination with suppliers.

Serve as SME; support and train plant staff on radiation systems and best practices.

Act as Radiation Protection Officer, managing radioactive materials and ensuring safety compliance.

Prepare reports on operations, safety, and project status for management review.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED in Electrical Engineering or Electronics required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay rate for this opportunity is $(INSERT). This position is incentive plan eligible, at target earnings of $(INSERT RANGE). Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county / city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on factors including but not limited to local labor market costs, experience, education, certifications, language skills, etc.
