Sr Quality Assurance Engineer

Manage all material quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier and customer) Work with internal manufacturing staff and material suppliers to resolve quality issues fast to prevent interruption to production. Carry out New Supplier qualifications and yearly suppliers audit to ensure sustainable excellent product quality and compliance to IATF 16949 / ISO9001 standard. Drive supplier corrective action (8D / SCAR) closure and verify effectiveness to prevent recurrence. Participate in new material approval and cost down projects. Manage suppliers’ performance to ensure keeping to internal KPIs. Participate as Internal auditor. Drive supplier Quality Development and Improvement projects. Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Science or its equivalent field from recognized Higher Institution. Prefer a minimum 3 years’ working experience in supplier management. Attributes and skills : Work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 QMS standard. Prefer

understanding AIAG core tools requirements of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA. Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. Teamwork and negotiation skills. Experience in Problem-solving skills such as 8D, 5 WHY Prefer to have knowledge

of Data analysis capability (SPC, Cpk, trend analysis) to drive fact-based decisions. Able to travel to supplier sites (local and overseas) for site audits. Additional Information
