Job Responsibilities
1. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for fire protection system products and raw materials, ensuring the efficiency of the procurement process, and controlling procurement costs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :
2. Systematic procurement management by utilizing data analysis, market trends, and sales forecasts to optimize procurement decisions and avoid over-purchasing. Specifically, for non-popular products, adjust procurement strategies to avoid excessive orders, ensuring efficient use of funds.
3. Close collaboration with the sales support team to ensure that procurement plans align with the sales team's needs and customer requirements. Adjust procurement plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and project demands to ensure timely deliveries and avoid delays. Provide procurement progress updates to ensure the sales support team can provide accurate delivery times to customers.
4. Ensure the timely replenishment of materials based on sales orders, production plans, and inventory levels, avoiding production halts due to material shortages. Collaborate with warehouse management to maintain appropriate inventory levels of critical materials and quickly initiate replenishment processes when stock levels are low.
5. Select and evaluate suppliers, build long-term relationships, and ensure that suppliers meet the company's standards for product quality, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency. Negotiate favorable procurement prices, delivery schedules, and product quality with suppliers.
6. Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize inventory control, avoiding overstocking or stockouts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
7. Regularly analyze market trends, track industry price movements, and report on procurement activities to management, providing cost analysis, supplier performance, and market dynamics. Propose procurement optimization strategies to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
8. Monitor and analyze procurement costs, propose cost-saving and optimization plans, improve procurement efficiency, and control costs effectively.
9. Ensure all purchased products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting necessary quality checks. Work closely with the quality management team to address any quality issues.
10. Lead and develop the procurement team, providing training and support to ensure that team members possess the skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively, driving team goal achievement.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably within the fire protection system or manufacturing industry.
3. Familiarity with SAP systems for procurement order management, inventory control, and data analysis, enhancing the automation and accuracy of the procurement process.
4. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and market analysis, with excellent supplier management and negotiation skills.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with the sales support team and other internal departments, handling cross-departmental collaboration issues.
6. Written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, able to communicate fluently with China / Taiwan Supplier.
7. Proficient in using office software (Excel, Word, etc.), with ERP system experience preferred.
