Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science, or any related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence / data analytics / MIS reporting, preferably within the insurance or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven expertise in performance tracking, data automation & simplification management, and insight generation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tool (ie : Power BI), Power Point and integration technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve data quality issues across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Skilled in simplifying the reporting process by building a more automated (less human touch) in preparing the regular report. Able to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Good communication skills (fluent in English)
  • Structured mindset in data management & good stakeholder management skills

    • Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure End to End Operation Monthly Data Submission (16 BU) are within agreed timeline, which includes :
  • Follow up with BU on data collections for all Ops KPI, with status tracker update for Group Workstream Leads
  • Ensure 100% data accuracy with no data error
  • Assist BU with Data Clarification requests
  • Manage any Change Request on Actuals / Targets, from BU / Group Workstream Leads
  • Ensure regular Data Collections of GOE, Headcount & Inforce Customers from Group Non-Ops team (ie : Group Finance, OSS, Group Data Analytics, Group Corporate Solution) within agreed timeline
  • Support Operation Monthly BU Deck release (16 BU) within agreed timeline, which comprise of :
  • Upload data into Excel Consolidation template and populate into PPT;
  • Follow up with Group Workstream Leads to request for the KPI commentaries;
  • Follow up with BU for feedbacks & coordinate with Group Workstream to close the gap;
  • Release to CLO on the agreed timeline
  • Support development / enhancement of templates in simplifying & automate the regular process of Operations Reporting, in order to reduce TAT & remove manual intervention for data collations / request responses
  • Support Operation Monthly Dashboard release with 100% data accuracy within the agreed timeline, which covers :
  • Follow up with TSS (Technology consultant) on Batch Job run process;
  • Refresh Power BI Dashboard & follow up review from workstream leads;
  • Circulate Dashboard email release to Group & Local ExCo stakeholders
  • Manage the Administration of Power BI Dashboard User Access Rights, based on user requests to remove / add
  • Manage the Enhancement milestones of Power BI Dashboard for more insightful reports, based on list of stakeholder's request according to its priority.
  • Prepare & ensure adhoc data sharing for Group Non-Ops request are accurate, consistent across various sources & in line with its objective.

    • In short :

  • Mandatory = BI + Analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, PPT) + Data automation + Insight generation + Communication / stakeholder management.
  • Secondary = Insurance / healthcare domain knowledge, advanced analytics, scripting (Python / R), cloud BI, governance.

    • Job Types : Full-time, Contract

    Contract length : 12 months

    Pay : RM3, RM10,000.00 per month
