Senior Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Administration & Coordination – Monitor purchasing activities such as sourcing new suppliers, negotiating lower pricing, analyzing quotations, purchasing goods and services for best price (process purchase requisition, purchase order and order confirmation), and monitor quality, quantity, and timeliness of goods delivered.
• Evaluate vendors’ quotations to ensure they meet technical and commercial specifications; negotiate pricing to ensure items and services are sourced and awarded competitively.
• Promote awareness and drive implementation of ERP within the organization; liaise with other departments to proceed with purchasing activities according to company requirements.
• Advise internal and external parties on issues regarding purchasing terms and conditions.
• Manage daily operational purchasing needs, including planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders, delivery, and delivery schedules to meet factory or requester requirements.
• Ensure implementation of company purchasing procedures.
• Conduct material inventory stock counts and report results.
• Monitor and maintain stock buffers to prevent production downtime.
• Coordinate import shipments, customs clearance processes, and handling domestic transportation.
• Undertake all required filing.
• Perform any other tasks as required by management from time to time.
