Responsibilities
Develop, adapt, and prepare artwork specifically for tampo printing on various product surfaces (flat, curved, irregular). Convert full-color or gradient artwork into spot color graphics optimized for tampo printing limitations. Perform color separation, bitmap conversion, and vector tracing as required for production readiness. Design Customization : Modify existing designs according to product shape, customer specifications, and branding guidelines. Apply product mock-ups to simulate final printing results for internal reviews and client approval. Print File Setup : Ensure all design files are properly formatted for tampo printing, including accurate registration marks, trapping, and bleed. Prepare final output files for production, including film output or digital plates for tampo machines. Technical Collaboration : Work closely with production, engineering, and tooling teams to ensure artwork meets product specifications and printing constraints. Troubleshoot and resolve design or printability issues prior to production. Quality Control : Review test prints and make adjustments if color, placement, or resolution does not meet quality standards. Ensure final printed output matches design intent and color accuracy, especially for product series. Documentation & File Management : Maintain organized and consistent file naming, version control, and documentation for each project. Create and update design templates, internal guides, and print setup references. Process Improvement : Contribute to continuous improvement of graphic processes to enhance efficiency and reduce printing errors. Cross-Functional Support : Support in-house graphic design projects or other special assignments as needed. Qualifications & Skills
