Senior Executive, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Warehouse Operations

Overview

The Senior Executive, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support decision-making within the organization. This position entails overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting to ensure that the company meets its financial objectives. The role supports the Manager, FP&A in the following areas :

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide productivity reports to the warehouse team to monitor operational performance across multiple Distribution Centers (DCs).
• Streamline work processes and enhance the productivity of warehouse operations.
• Actively participate in analyzing and facilitating the transition to new DCs, as well as the setup of additional DCs (if any).
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide valuable insights on accounts and financial positions to the Logistics GM / AGM and Finance Director.
• Perform monthly account reviews, prepare journal entries, and manage payment and receipt processing during month-end closing.
• Review variances and provide ongoing feedback and reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to formulate accurate budgets.
• Maintain and improve financial models and forecasts using Anaplan.
• Partner with the Logistics GM / AGM to evaluate risks and identify opportunities for the financial year.
