Coordinate with department heads on infrastructure and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations.
Develop and manage new suppliers to reduce cost and improve quality / efficiency.
Liaise with consultants and government authorities for construction / renovation approvals, compliance, and reporting.
Participate in new project construction, renovation, and modification works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Prepare and monitor project cost and budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
Ensure all activities comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and relevant regulations.
Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by management related to engineering and infrastructure.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Construction, or related field).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in infrastructure or plant engineering, preferably in plastics / chemical / manufacturing industries.
Familiar with construction processes, equipment maintenance, and project management.
Experience in coordinating with government departments on permits, approvals, or compliance matters is an advantage.
Strong skills in supplier management, cost control, and compliance awareness.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required to communicate with internal teams and suppliers.
