Group Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer
Reporting to : Group IT Infrastructure Director
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
As the Group IT Infrastructure Engineer , you will need to ensure the availability, operation and development of the technical infrastructure on which the Group's information system relies, all in accordance with the Group's IT policies. Additionally, the Group IT Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements, manage and maintains the IT infrastructures of the Group's information system, in compliance with the Group's constraints, requirements and IT policies.
As a cross-functional member of the infrastructure team, this person will be involved in all layers : network, system and security, whether on-premise or in the cloud. Your other roles and responsibilities also include :
- Responsible for managing IT networks, servers, systems, data, storage, collaboration tools, backups, identity, etc. in relation to the Group's IS infrastructure.
- Integrate the IS of companies acquired by the Group into the Trescal IS, in compliance with the Group's governance rules.
- Study the design and implementation of new components (software, systems, hardware, etc.) based on the needs, which may result in technical specifications for a tender.
- Manage their work autonomously and report regularly on their activities to their line manager.
- Report any problems encountered and suggest solutions.
- Expertise on the technical components of the Group's Information System,
- Anticipate and resolve breakdowns that may occur on the Group IS infrastructure,
- Define and implement appropriate solutions to new requirements, through POCs if necessary,
- Participate in the IT Infrastructure policy in collaboration with the IT Infrastructure Architect,
- Participate in the design, implementation and evolution of infrastructure Group's IS, in accordance with the Group's IT policies,
- Ensure the maintenance in operational condition of the Group's IS infrastructure in accordance with the Group's IT policies,
- Maintain the security of the Group's IS infrastructure in accordance with the IS Security Policy,
- Update technical documents,
- Ensure technology watch.
GUARANTEE IT INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE AND EVOLUTION
Monitor Group IS infrastructure using the tools available,Maintains the inventory and knowledge base of all Group IS Infrastructure,Oversees the development and maintenance of the components making up the Group IS infrastructure,Ensures that the backup and restoration of Group IS infrastructure components are operational and functional,Assigns access rights to Group IS components according to profiles, applying the principle of least privilege,Configures the components of the Group's IS infrastructure,Checks the obsolescence of Group’s IS components,Requests quotations and purchases of IT equipment, and submits them to line management for approval,Ensure technology watch.IMPLEMENT PROJECTS
Analyzes the needs and collects information in case of country integrationsChecks the legal and regulatory aspects of the project, if necessary, with the support of the Group IT Infrastructure Director, CISO and the Legal department,Creates and proposes specifications for service providers,Carries out technical design in coordination with IT Infrastructure ArchitectManages implementation, relying whether necessary on external service providers or in-country resources,Plans regular meetings on project progress,Ensures effective project implementation (functional verification, performance indicators, feedback...)Writes or ensures that the technical documentation inherent in the project is formalized and meets requirements (LLD, HLD as a minimum).Draft or ensure that the functional documentation inherent in the project is formalized and meets requirements (timeline, presentation, budget, change management, e-mail, etc.).HANDLE REQUESTS / INCIDENTS
Receives, analyzes, processes and closes requests for level 3 supportCreates technical documentsRequests quotations and purchases of IT devices and submits them to line management for approval.PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT :
